looking for a spot with onshore winds to kite. will be between santa monica and ventura for some idle time before my work training starts next week on monday feb 9. coming from corpus christi tx with a few months experience. able to go up wind and turn with no problem. although i've had some ocean/wave experience, most of my kiting has been in the relatively shallow calm bays.

I just fell into this site and it seems to be pretty dead for an Association...

But, I would recommend looking at ikitesurf.com

As for kiting, Port Hueneme, right next to Point Mugu - Which I am guessing you are going to be at. I would stay East of the Hueneme Pier. It is also the location I am learning at - hopefully will be buying my own kite gear today!
